Artemus Collins, a Central Hauling company driver from Amite, La., recently won an FLD Freightliner truck for recruiting the highest number of new drivers to either Central Hauling Company or its sister company, CalArk International.
Tom Bartholomew, owner of both Central Hauling Co. and CalArk International, presented Artemus with the keys to the truck earlier this month.
The two fleets have a program in which the driver who recruits the most hired drivers to either company in a six-month time period is awarded a truck. This is the fourth truck Artemus has won since he leased on with Central Hauling Company in April 2004.
The next driver referral truck giveaway program for these companies will run from October 2006 until March 2007. In addition to awarding a truck to the grand prize winner, Central Hauling and CalArk International award a $500 referral bonus to every driver who refers a driver who is hired.
Central Hauling Co., a full truckload carrier serving the 48 contiguous states and Mexico, is 100 percent owner-operator-driven. CalArk International is a full truckload carrier serving the 48 contiguous states, Mexico and Canada. To learn more about Central Hauling Co. or CalArk International, call (888) 422-5275.
