Carolina International Trucks has begun a renovation and expansion project at its location in Charleston, S.C.
The renovated 29,000 sq. ft. facility will include 20 full-service repair bays, a standalone service write-up bay for immediate diagnostics and repair planning, a 5,100 sq. ft. parts warehouse with automated parts handling and storage, a new drivers’ lounge with Wi-Fi and high-definition TV and a paved parking lot for easier maneuvering.
The dealership remains open during the renovation. Construction is expected to be completed in July 2015.
“The Charleston market is expanding and we are investing to improve our customers’ vehicle uptime, provide faster access to a larger inventory of parts, and increase service efficiency,” said Dick Ryan, dealer principal, Carolina International Trucks.
Carolina International Trucks operates six commercial truck dealership locations in South Carolina and sells and services the full line of International Trucks, IC Buses and Mitsubishi Fuso medium duty commercial trucks.
