Cadec Global's DeliveryTracker mobile proof-of-delivery solution is now available on the PowerVue platform, Cadec’s SaaS solution for fleet management.
Cadec Upgrades DeliveryTracker
DeliveryTracker application now runs in PowerVue environment.
“DeliveryTracker is an important element of our promise to extend a company’s supply-chain management efforts all the way to the point of delivery,” said Pete Allen, CEO of Cadec. “Moving DeliveryTracker into our SaaS environment was a major engineering accomplishment and a big milestone in the evolution of PowerVue. We’re very proud of the outcome.”
DeliveryTracker, originally launched in 2009 for Cadec’s Mobius platform, was the industry’s first mobile solution for integrated proof of delivery. The software runs on mobile handheld units that drivers can take out of the cab to scan product and capture signatures at the point of delivery. Data from the handheld is synced with the Cadec On-board Computer (OBC) in real time and signed invoices can be printed on an optional mobile printer.
It records details such as over, short and damaged stock; other inventory changes; electronic signatures; and even copies of invoices are sent back from the OBC to the office for integration with billing, inventory and ERP systems for a paperless delivery environment with no single point of failure.
DeliveryTracker benefits include:
Increased Productivity: Maximizes driver productivity, allows for more and faster deliveries with fewer mistakes.
Better inventory control: Barcode scanning ensures that the correct products and quantities are delivered at each delivery site.
Eliminates paper and improves records keeping: Automatically keeps delivery and accounting records current. No need for paper notes or invoices – everything is recorded on the handheld.
Streamlines invoices and accelerates cash flow: Proof-of-delivery is conveyed in real time so invoices can be generated on the spot.
DeliveryTracker for PowerVue is available now, and Cadec is demonstrating DeliveryTracker and all other elements of PowerVue at this week’s NPTC 2013 Education Management Conference & Exhibition, Booth #814. For more information visit www.Cadec.com
