Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake has expanded its all-makes aftermarket portfolio with Bendix air disc brake pads and rotors. The compamny said this move will support the increasing number of fleets and owner-operators equipping ttrucks with air disc brakes.
“More than one in three North American new builds for Class 6 to 8 air-braked wheel ends is now equipped with ADBs,” said Keith McComsey, director of marketing and customer solutions for Bendix.
Bendix wheel end all-makes offerings include pads and rotors for Meritor, Wabco, and Haldex OE brake systems; all aftermarket-engineering approved and supported by a one-year warranty.
The Bendix ADB all-makes friction portfolio provides premium aftermarket friction that uses a proprietary formulation and is compliant with forthcoming 2021 copper (Level B) requirements, said Bendix Spicer.
Product coverage includes all Meritor and Haldex air disc brake configurations, along with Wabco Pan, Maxxus, and Maxx22T. The pads are FMVSS-121 certified, meet Bendix’s rotor cracking requirements, and include a replacement hardware kit with high-quality pad retainer springs and shear adaptors.
