Barr-Nunn Transportation Inc. has named Bob Smith, Brock Stewart and Rick Allen as Drivers of the Month.
Being named Driver of the Month is more than just a title at Barr-Nunn. It’s also a ticket to experience NASCAR up close and personal.
Barr-Nunn co-sponsors the Labonte-Haas Motorsports #44 Coast Guard Shield of Freedom Chevrolet Monte Carlo, driven by Justin Labonte. As a result, these top truck drivers all became honorary Labonte-Haas team members and co-drivers of the Labonte-Haas $1,000,000 racecar-hauler.
Smith said, “It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I am a big fan of racing so it was interesting to get that perspective from the crew’s point of view.”
Stewart, on the other hand, said he was not a fan of NASCAR. "But my involvement over the past weekend has made me a fan. I really look forward to watching the races now.”
Allen said, “I was amazed on how much preparation there is for a single race. There was such great teamwork from the entire crew.”
