Barr-Nunn Transportation of Granger, Iowa, has announced a new program within the safety department. Barr-Nunn drivers will receive two additional days of vacation in conjunction with their safety awards
when they reach 1 million safe miles.
Each driver reaching this goal will continue to be granted two extra days of vacation for every 125,000 safe miles. The program went into effect Jan. 1, 2007.
Rene Beacom, president of Barr-Nunn, says "We are proud of our fleet and their dedication to safety." An announcement will be made each month to recognize the drivers who have reached this milestone.
