American Trucking Associations announced it has opened registration for the the annual Management Conference & Exhibition, scheduled for Oct. 19-22 in Orlando, Fla.
This year’s MC&E opens Oct. 19 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Fla., with the annual golf tournament to benefit the ATA Insurance Task Force and highlighted by the first-time attendees orientation and chairman’s membership committee social.
The conference’s first full day features the “All Eyes on the Economy” luncheon and general session and the opening of the ATA Exhibit Hall, where attendees can review the latest advances in truck safety, sustainability and productivity.
Day two of the meeting leads off with Gov. Graves’ annual “State of the Industry” address followed by a humor-filled presentation by Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and satirist Dave Barry. The line-up of speakers continues with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at the Advocacy and Government Affairs Luncheon, and the day finishes with educational sessions, this year focusing on trucking technology, legal issues, industry advocacy and government regulations' impact on the bottom line.
The conference’s final day is highlighted by the ATA Banquet, featuring entertainment by comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
