Ronnie Bertrand, a dedicated company driver with American Central Transport (ACT), recently won $2,000 worth of holiday cash.
As part of the company’s referral program, $100 was placed in a fund for each new hire,
along with the names of the drivers who referred them. A mid-December drawing determined that Bertrand was the winner.
Bertrand recently returned to ACT after driving for another company. “The personnel at ACT go above and beyond. They really make me put my heart and soul into my work,” he said. “Coming back here was the best decision I’ve ever made,” he added.
The holiday cash giveaway is just one part of ACT’s most recent referral program. Four other prizes, including the grand prize – a Kawasaki 2006 Mule 610 4X4 Camo – will be given away. In addition to being eligible for great prizes, each referring driver receives a .02 cent-per-mile increase in base pay for the next six months (provided drivers and their referred drivers are still employed with ACT).
