Xata Corp. released Xata Turnpike Multiple Management Authority, a tracking tool for fleet managers of household goods carriers who supervise drivers hauling for multiple operating authorities.


Drivers working for multiple authorities are required to keep multiple logs, which can be "a big headache for everyone involved," says Christian Schenk, vice president, market development and product marketing.

Ensuring logbook accuracy consumes extra time, and paper logs can result in errors and missing information. With Xata Turnpike's Multiple Authority Management, HOS is tracked automatically, which means greater HOS accuracy and a clear view of which drivers are available for each job.
