Affiliated Computer Services announced the TripPak Mobile smart phone application is now available for drivers to download to their Android phones.
TripPak Mobile was first launched on the iPhone in July, providing drivers with the ability to update their trip status, confirm pick-up and delivery with signature capture, and capture trip documents for submission - all from the driver's smart phone. With the new Android app, drivers capture their trip documents with the smart phone camera, assign the documents to the correct trip, and conveniently upload to their fleet.
"This is the next step in our deployment of the TripPak Mobile smart phone application," said Kelley Walkup, division vice president and general manager for ACS. "By adding new platforms, we are increasing the availability of the application to drivers."
For drivers to successfully use the application, fleets must be signed up with TripPak Mobile.
