Ram Truck has lengthened the RamBox cargo management system to fit Ram pickup trucks with 6-foot 4-inch bed lengths. The new RamBox expands the feature's availability to include most Ram truck models.

In addition to the 5-foot 7-inch RamBox previously available only on Ram 1500 Crew Cab models, buyers can now opt for RamBox on Ram pickups with 6-foot 4-inch bed lengths, including Ram 1500 regular cab and Quad Cab models and Ram 2500 and 3500 (single rear wheel) Crew Cab and Mega Cab models.

Ram also will offer the RamBox option on the ST price class, making the feature available on all trim levels. The RamBox option is now available on more than 80% of all Ram pickups.

The new RamBox measures 60 inches in length versus 50.5 inches for the 5-foot 7-inch model. Interior volume grows from 7.3 cubic feet to 8.6 cubic feet. With the added length and volume, the new RamBox can hold long-handled shovels.

RamBox is a cargo management system that includes three key elements:

1. Two weatherproof, lockable, drainable, lighted storage bins that run the length of the pickup bed and are as wide as the wheel well, creating a total of 8.6 cubic feet of space. RamBox side bins create storage along each side of the pickup bed space previously left untouched due to wheel-well intrusion. RamBox bins fit the length of the pickup bed and incorporate the space over each wheel well to secure cargo within a lit, lockable and drainable container.

2. An adjustable bed divider/extender that fits on the lowered tailgate and adds 2 feet of additional length to secure longer loads. The bed divider creates individual compartments in the pickup bed to separate payload equipment such as tools or equipment. It can be conveniently stowed in the front of the bed when not in use.

3. A cargo rail system with sliding, adjustable cleats for infinitely adjustable tie-down versatility.

Additionally, Ram has reduced the price of both 6-foot 4-inch and 5-foot 7-inch RamBoxes by 32% to $1,295.
