Purolator's expanded line of filters includes coverage for cabin air filters.
Purolator Filters, headquartered in Fayetteville, N.C., has expanded its line of heavy duty filters for Class 8 trucks and buses to include oil, air, cabin, fuel, air dryers, hydraulic and coolant filters.
"With more than 170 new part numbers covering primarily Class 8 vehicles, Purolator now covers more than 80 percent of these vehicles-in-operation," said John Enright, senior product manager for Purolator Heavy Duty Filters.
"We're well known for oil, air and fuel filters for heavy-duty as well as light-duty vehicles but this newly expanded line includes substantial new coverage for cabin air filters which are becoming increasingly common in OTR Class 8 trucks," Enright said. "In addition, this product line expansion includes coverage for truck air dryers, moving us closer to our goal of providing the most comprehensive line of filters in the heavy duty arena."
Separately, Purolator has released the newest version of its catalog for heavy-duty applications, which includes this expanded coverage for Class 8 vehicles. New product categories in the catalog include cabin air filters and air dryers.
At more than 700 pages, the new Purolator Heavy Duty Filter Catalog is detailed and includes all equipment manufacturers in one section.
"This new catalog reflects our expanded class 8 vehicle coverage plus the addition of new types of filters we have not offered before," said Enright. "Furthermore, we have added over 27,000 heavy duty OE and competitive cross references to the Filter Finder section of our web site www.purolatorautofilters.net, enabling our customers to easily find the right Purolator heavy duty filter for their needs."
