This kit features OEM enhanced software on a Windows XP Netbook and offers the same scan functionality as the Pegisys handset.
The new Pegisys PC Scan with Netbook comes preloaded with Pegisys PC Scan software. It's available with a 90-day test drive subscription and a six-month initial subscription for domestic/Asian OEM enhanced software with Pegisys diagnostic information.
The PC Scan is designed with an open architecture, giving technicians the option to run specialized software in conjunction with a laptop PC of their choice in place of the Pegisys tool to allow scan tool and reprogramming functionality.
The OTC Pegisys PC Scan with Netbook is both SAE J2534-1 and -2 compliant, and the package includes the Modular Vehicle Communication Interface (MVCI) with AirBridge Wireless Technology.
The MVCI supports Wi-Fi connectivity to the Internet, offering immediate access to Web-enabled diagnostic assets from the PC. Additional features include Bluetooth capability, SpeedScroll Touch Control with an LCD display, a built-in rechargeable battery, USB, Ethernet, and USB on-the-go Secure Digital Input/Output (SDIO), data storage, and domestic/Asian OEM cable kit.
