The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute released what it says is the first comprehensive online buyers' guide exclusively for natural gas vehicles.

The guide is designed to be a complete source of all commercially available Class 1 through 8 natural gas vehicles, engines and conversion systems. Offered through subscription, it is available exclusively online through NGVi's website.

The NGV Buyers' Guide is the latest product from NGVi to help fleet professionals to incorporate natural gas vehicles into their operations. The guide allows the user to search by fuel type, vehicle class, vehicle type, model year and manufacturer including original equipment manufacturers, small volume manufacturers, and engine and chassis manufacturers. Search results yield detailed vehicle specification information and vehicle images. Complete contact information for each manufacturer and natural gas industry partners is also included to help make purchasing decisions easier.
