ALK Technologies announced the successful certification and integration of its PC*Miler 24 and PC*Miler|Tolls 24 by strategic alliance partner McLeod Software.


PC*Miler's 24th annual edition includes critical map data updates such as truck restrictions and truck-specific toll costs. This PC*MIler 24 certification also covers ALK's street-level routing, multi-version switch and hazmat routing solutions.

PC*Miler 24 is an important component of numerous technology solutions offered by McLeod Software, including LoadMaster X, and PowerBroker applications, version 7.5 and forward. The McLeod iLens freight procurement, load execution and spot market product line interfaces with PC*Miler Web Services as well.

A tool for billing, driver pay, and managing operating costs, PC*Miler reduces out-of-route mileage, saving time, tolls, and fuel. PC*Miler 24 provides a substantial map data update encompassing 627,000 new and updated North American truck restrictions and 21,700 miles of new and updated truck-restricted roadway.

The recently updated map data includes 3.52 million commercial truck restrictions, such as bridge heights, clearances and load limits. Its 427,600 urban road designations help keep commercial vehicles out of city centers and on designated truck-through routes around the city.
