Over 1-1/2 pounds lighter than the previous model, BorgWarner's new Kysor K30 on/off fan drive features an aluminum housing designed to help boost fuel economy and performance.

Available with 2.56" or 5" pilot options, the fan drives feature higher dynamic torque capacity, delivering cooling performance whenever the engine demands it. Powerwedge clutch liners provide consistent, long-life performance and can be replaced in just 10 minutes without taking the clutch off the vehicle.

To prevent the engine from overheating and avoid costly breakdowns, BorgWarner's Fail Safe design allows the fan to continue to rotate, even in the event of air system pressure failure. With proper maintenance, a million miles of trouble-free service may be expected under normal operating conditions, according to the company.
