International Transport Systems has added a new feature to its web site, allowing trucking companies to view available loads live and free-of-charge.
The new feature uses map-based technology and provides a visual presentation of real-time load opportunities. Carriers can receive RSS feeds for automatic load updates on their personal computer or smartphone.
"Today's spot market is now made up of 50 spot markets depending on what load board you're using," said Ron Cornille, CEO of International Transport Systems. "Connecting with smartphones and GPS will increase productivity for both carriers and brokers and will provide more revenue opportunities."
The company is working on a feature that will allow carriers to post their available equipment by location.
This new feature is available for free at www.itransys.com.
