General Motors unveiled a new system today that will dramatically simplify the vehicle maintenance process for fleets of all sizes and types.
GM FleetTrac offers consolidated billing and additional features that reduce the administrative burdens associated with fleet maintenance, providing fleet drivers and managers with more convenience than ever before.
"Our customers have consistently asked us to help simplifiy their fleet management processes," said Brian Small, general manager, GM Fleet and Commercial Operations. "GM FleetTrac has been built specifically with the needs of self-managed fleet customers in mind. It will help us offer our customers unsurpassed convenience while simultaneously helping them reduce their administrative workload and costs."
Available to fleets of all sizes, GM FleetTrac is designed for organizations that schedule vehicle repairs at outside repair shops without the use of a fleet management company.
GM FleetTrac reduces administration burdens for fleet managers by consolidating vehicle maintenance invoices, documenting vehicle repair history, and minimizing the process for repair authorization. Invoice details are delivered through a secure website and can be customized to fit any business structure.
Self-managed fleets can also benefit from the cost management that FleetTrac provides. Unlike similar programs from other fleet service providers, FleetTrac comes without enrollment or processing fees. FleetTrac also includes flexible client-specified purchase policies and 30-day payment terms.
GM FleetTrac offers maximum driver convenience by enabling fleet drivers to utilize a conveniently located network of GM dealers for vehicle maintenance and repair. Through FleetTrac's consolidated service billing, drivers are also able to eliminate out-of-pocket expenses and account reimbursement processes.
To help drivers and fleet managers manage the vehicle maintenance process, GM FleetTrac agents, conveniently located throughout the U.S., will be available to assist customers with program or invoice questions.
Fleet managers can learn more about GM FleetTrac and open an account at www.GMFleetTrac.com.
