Decisiv Inc. is adding contract maintenance service providers to those who can benefit from the cloud-based Decisiv Service Management Platform.

Decisiv recently expanded the functionality of its cloud-based service management solution to give service providers and lease fleet operators new capabilities. Included are mobile check-in and inspection tools, and an entirely new set of features for managing scheduled maintenance on behalf of customers.

Mobile check-in and inspection applications on the Decisiv platform enable service providers to use a variety of mobile devices to scan a branded QR code on the truck, retrieve the asset's profile, and complete check-in and inspection procedures. Service operations related to inspection outcomes can also be selected to automatically populate an estimate for approval.

New service management capabilities of the Decisiv platform, based on pre-established maintenance and inspection operations for customer or lease fleet vehicles can include labor, parts, notes, documents and VMRS coding. Service schedules are triggered automatically by mileage, engine hours, days or any combination.

Daily due and overdue maintenance notifications are organized by asset and maintenance operation, and reports are updated in real-time as work is performed in the service provider shops.
