Cobra 29 LX LCD CB Radio
Cobra Electronics is unveiling the new 29 LX CB Radio at the Mid-America Trucking Show, March 31 through April 2 at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville.
Based on the 29 LX LE 50th Anniversary Limited Edition model, the 29 LX features a selectable LCD color display in red, green, blue, or amber and customizable night and day settings to enhance readability in a variety of light conditions. The radio includes a new clock/timer that enables drivers to track their on-time driving hours, which also functions as an alarm clock.
Other features include:
* A large center scroll knob that provides one-touch programming of the unit for setup and channel changes.
* A weather alert scanner, which automatically advances to the next clear NOAA weather channel when driving cross-country.
* A radio check diagnostic allowing drivers to continuously monitor their radio's RF power output, antenna system, and battery voltage.
* Four Watts of AM RF power output, the maximum allowed by law, along with instant access to emergency channel 9 and information channel 19.
The 29 LX LCD CB Radio will have a suggested retail price of $149.95 and will be available in late April nationwide at travel centers, CB shops and truck dealers, and on the company's website at www.cobra.com.
