SAF-Holland announced that Steffen Schewerda has stepped down as president - Americas has that it has appointed Kent Jones as his replacement.

Kent Jones has been appointed SAF-Holland president - Americas.

Jones was previously serving as the vice president of commercial vehicle steering systems and advanced drivers assistance systems at ZF Commercial Steering, responsible for sales and marketing, aftermarket P&L, business development, product planning and strategy. Jones will report directly to Alexander Geis, chief executive officer of SAF-Holland.

From 1996 to 2016, he worked for Remy International, a U.S. manufacturer of starters and alternators for light and heavy commercial vehicles, in a variety of staff and operational management positions. Jones began his career in 1992 at General Motors in account management and production control.

Jones is a graduate engineer, having studied industrial engineering at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan, and holds a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University.
