Diesel Laptops has launched Remote Programming Kits to help fleets and shops that need quick, one-time solutions for atypical situations.
The rental kits offer a solution for situations where a fleet or shop owner faced a problem with a brand that they are unfamiliar with. Rather than buying software to use one time, fleet managers, shop owners, or mechanics can rent a Remote Programming Kit and let a Diesel Laptop certified technician remote access the machine and perform the necessary service.
“It is virtually impossible for one shop to have every piece of diagnostic equipment available for every situation,” said Tyler Robertson, president of Diesel Laptops. “On top of that, a lot of OEMs will only allow factory trained technicians to perform certain programming repairs. This solution solves all those problems.”
Diesel Laptops currently offers six Remote Programming Kits for Cummins, International, Isuzu, Mack and Volvo, CAT and John Deere with plans to offer more soon. For more information on the Remote Programming Kit, click here.
