The Pontoon Beach service center was added to address the growing needs of customers in a more efficient way and to position the company to offer services in a region that is experiencing an increased demand for capacity, according to Dart.
The location is close to major highways and situated along popular trucking routes, offering a destination for drivers to eat, shower, do laundry, and receive truck maintenance. The new facility also offers driving opportunities for drivers living in the St. Louis area that includes dedicated, regional, and over-the-road options.
“Our newly constructed Pontoon Beach service center is strategically located in one of Dart’s busiest freight hubs,” said James Langley, president of Dart Transit. “It will allow us to better serve our current drivers and customers more effectively while opening up new markets and opportunities.”
