Q. What is required of the ELD office administrator as far record keeping is concerned? Is he/she required to do daily reporting? Weekly? I understand that you must keep six months of ELD records.

A. There is some day-to-day maintenance that is recommended such as ensuring drivers are not in violation, drivers are not creating unassigned logs erroneously etc., however, there is nothing in the mandate that states what an ‘Admin’ job would be.
