Axalta Coating Systems has developed a new color exclusively for Kenworth. The color is called Aurora and was designed to help showcase the lines and curves of Kenworth’s trucks.
Aurora is a bright orange with metallic and special visual effects to bring it to life on the road. The paint also provides protection and durability as an Imron Elite Finish, which Kenworth has used in its production line for decades.
The same coatings are used on the production line and in the aftermarket to assure that repairs can be color matched at any Axalta commercial repair facility. The Aurora color will be available for Kenworth’s 2015 model year trucks ordered through a full-service Kenworth dealership.
