uShip, ShipWorks Team Up for Shipping Oversized and Palletized Items
The services uShip and ShipWorks have teamed up to address what they say is the problem many sellers face when using e-commerce sites when shipping goods that are too large to easily and affordably ship through conventional methods.
ShipWorks customers selling oversized, palletized goods on Amazon, eBay, Magento, Shopify, Etsy and others, or moving inventory between warehouses, can now use uShip to access bookable rates directly from the nation's top less-than-truckload carriers.
uShip is partnered with nearly 30 LTL carriers, including three of the nation's top providers, Con-way Freight, Old Dominion Freight Line and YRC Freight. ShipWorks customers get access to rates not available in the open market and it also gives them one place to find carriers, book, dispatch, track, audit and pay.
"Getting direct, competitive rates when shipping large or palletized goods mean online merchants using ShipWorks can stay competitive in the marketplace," said Phil Strohl, vice president, business development at uShip. "uShip's relationships with top LTL providers offers direct access to rates that aren't available in the open market, further expanding ShipWorks' market-leading offering for online sellers."
ShipWorks provides shipping software while uShip is an online logistics provider.
