A New Way to Spec Trucks
Volvo Trucks North America has also launched its Volvo Configurator tool. This is an interactive online platform that lets customers build their ideal VNL or VNR truck using Volvo’s packaging offerings.
This tool is designed to streamline the spec’ing process for customers and dealers, making it easier to customize and visualize different trim levels and cab options.
Comprehensive packaging selections include interior and exterior trim levels, safety, powertrain, technology, and amenities.
Certified Volvo dealers will use the Connected Vehicle Analytics tool to help customers select the optimal powertrain package, enhancing fuel efficiency and operational performance.
Volvo said this packaging approach simplifies the configuration and ordering process to tailor each truck to meet the unique needs of its operator.
Additional news will be announced at the Volvo Trucks’ press conference on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 6:30 pm CST in the Volvo Trucks booth (#901) at TMC.
In addition, the OEM will have subject matter experts on hand at its booth during the entire show to guide visitors through the configurator tool as well as well as the Volvo Connect portal.
