Hendrickson produced its 500,000th Steertek fabricated front steer axle and delivered it to J.B. Hunt Transport for use on one of the company's International LT Series tractors.

The relationship that J.B. Hunt and Hendrickson share spans decades, said Nick Hobbs, chief operating officer and president of Contract Services at J.B. Hunt.

The Steertek NXT, first announced in 2011, is available in capacities from 8,000 to 14,600 lbs. per axle. The front steer axle is approved for on-highway and medium-duty truck, bus and motor home applications.
