Garmin’s latest series of dēzl over-the-road GPS truck navigators now receive notifications of upcoming weigh stations and bypass decisions for PrePass customers.

With an active PrePass account, users receive weigh station notifications on the same screen as their navigation and route guidance when using Garmin’s dēzl OTR700, OTR800, OTR1000 models and the new OTR500 model.

Garmin’s dēzl OTR series of GPS truck navigators gives professional truckers a clear view of the road ahead, PrePass officials said in a press release.

The dēzl OTR series also includes load-to-dock guidance, popular truck routes and custom truck routing. The navigation devices are available in five and a half-inch, seven-inch, eight-inch and extra-large 10-inch sizes.

Customers using the PrePass weigh station bypass with Garmin’s dēzl OTR series of GPS truck navigators halso ave the option to add electronic toll payment services with PrePass Plus, an RFID-based service.

The integration of PrePass with the Garmin dēzl OTR devices is available with a software update. It requires an active PrePass account and use of the Garmin Drive app on a compatible smartphone.
