Driving Kenworth's Zero Emissions Cargo Transport Truck [Video]

Kenworth's latest green initiative is the Zero Emissions Cargo Transport (ZECT) - a hydrogen fuel cell powered battery-electric vehicle with a 100-mile range. Kenworth plans to increase the range with greater hydrogen storage capacity, but for now it's well suited for drayage work at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Nikola Hydrogen Fuel Cell Truck on the Road [Video]

Nikola Motor Co. released a short video of its groundbreaking hydrogen fuel cell powered electric truck, Nikola One, in action. It's a short clip of the truck driving on a deserted highway, decked out in U.S. Xpress colors -- one of the first major carriers to get on board with Nikola. Nikola says pre-production units will hit streets in 2019 for testing.
