VDO RoadLog ELD 34-hour Restart Update is Now Available
Continental released a free update to its VDO RoadLog ELD software addressing the recent suspension of certain provisions of the 34-hour restart rules.
Continental Commercial Vehicles and Aftermarket released a free update to VDO RoadLog ELD software addressing the 34-hour restart suspension. The software updates are available online to registered VDO RoadLog users.
The update addresses the FMCSA’s recent suspension of a requirement that drivers take off two consecutive periods of 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. during a 34-hour restart and only one restart in any 168 hour period. Drivers are still required to account for a 30 minute break during a shift.
