Every day at the show there will be discussions and seminars featuring fleets and industry associations on crucial trucking issues. The seminar lineup includes sessions on topics ranging from ELDs to owner-operator/small fleet business solutions.

Bendix will host a series of eight 15-minute tech talks on subjects such as driver assistance systems, automation, and air disc brake maintenance. The talks will be hosted at Bendix's booth March 22 and 23. (Previous MATS Tech Talks can be found on the Bendix YouTube channel.)

Three major heavy-duty truck manufacturers will be on hand: Peterbilt, Mack, and Kenworth. Mack will host a ride-and-drive featuring the company’s new on-highway trucks. Peterbilt will be celebrating the production of its 1 millionth truck this year by giving away a brand new 567 Heritage truck. The American Truck Historical Society will display historical vehicles, including showing the first Talbert trailer ever produced to mark the company's 80th year in business.

The day before the show opens, the Mobil Delvac 2018 Fleet Maintenance Forum will be produced and hosted by ExxonMobil, an exclusive event for fleet managers and maintenance executives at the Omni Hotel in Louisville.

The American Transportation Research Institute will be there as well, asking truck drivers to participate in several priority research initiatives during the show. It will ask for input on its Driver Safety Assessment Tool, truck parking survey, and a report on new truck drivers.
