SkyBitz Integrates ALK Maps with InSight App
SkyBitz has integrated ALK Maps with its InSight asset tracking and management web application, bringing real-time visualizations and interactive maps to the service.

SkyBitz is a provider of remote asset management solutions giving customers information on the location and status of assets.
ALK Maps offers commercial mapping and Class 8 vehicle registration, which will enhance InSight with transportation-specific data not available in consumer mapping applications. InSight users will now have truck-specific map overlays for fuel and truckstops, weigh stations, toll roads and landmarks. It will also include information about commercial restrictions and hazmat designations.
Customers will also be able to set up geo-fencing for Class 8 vehicles, clustered layers, and make use of other enhancements to landmark creation and editing.
“We are pleased to offer SkyBitz customers enhanced North American maps with common industry-specific information that will help them to improve their operations,” said Henry Popplewell, senior vice president and general manager, SkyBitz. “The new mapping integration can help customers to visualize their assets with more contextualized information.”
ALK Maps integration is now available for SkyBitz customers within SkyBitz InSight.
