Schneider is offering owner-operators with 2000 or newer model-year trucks a lease-on opportunity with access to select van truckloads.

The lease-on opportunity allows qualifying owner-operators to select van truckloads moving in the eastern 37 states on Schneider’s Percentage Lease Program. Owner-operators with 2010 or newer trucks will also be able to take advantage of the company’s Percentage Lease Program for van truckload or tanker loads across the U.S. and Canada.

Also referred to as the Choice Program, Schneider’s Percentage Lease Program gives owner-operators more control over picking loads and planning tours. It offers access Schneider’s large freight base without having to deal with dispatchers and brokers.

Owner-operators leased with Schneider can also save through the Purchase Power Program, which provides ways to lower business costs on items such as tires, glass, chains, fuel, maintenance and insurance. Additional advantages include access to Schneider’s e-logs, trailers, and facilities.

“With Schneider, owner-operators have the buying power of a large, stable trucking company in their corner,” said Rob Reich, senior vice president of equipment, maintenance and driver recruiting. “The new and expanded lease-on opportunities help more owner-operators keep their business moving and revenue growing.”
