Shaleen Devgun, vice president of strategy, planning and architecture at Schneider National, was selected as one of IDG's Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leaders for 2010.
Devgun was chosen as a Premier 100 IT Leader from nearly 1,000 nominees who were measured against Computerworld's IT Leadership Index, which weighs a set of characteristics that describes executives who guide the effective use of IT in their organizations.
"The goal of Premier 100 is to recognize individuals who have had a positive impact on their organization through technology, and without a doubt, Shaleen has done just that here at Schneider," said Judy Lemke, executive vice president and CIO for Schneider National. "He exhibits the ability to collaborate on strategic business goals and identify how key technology trends can be harnessed to amplify the rate and pace of business achievement. He is closely in tune with technology industry trends and is always in a position to drive strategic actions that accelerate growth and profitability."
The winners will be recognized at Computerworld's upcoming Premier 100 IT Leaders Conference, being held March 7-9, 2010, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix, Ariz.
The complete class of Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leaders for 2010 appears online at www.computerworld.com/spring/p100/2010/1.
