Roehl Transport has announced an increase in mileage pay for drivers operating under the company’s Your Choice Pay Plan, effective Feb. 4, 2018.

Drivers under the plan will be eligible for a 6% -10% increase in the mileage rate. Experienced drives will receive a 5-cent-per-mile increase at level 10 of the pay plan and inexperienced drivers will receive a 2-cent increase at level 1. Based on performance, Roehl truck drivers can move up in the Your Choice Pay Plan each quarter, and all Roehl pay levels will receive an increase.

In addition to getting paid based on their performance, Roehl drivers are also paid for more of the miles they drive because Roehl pays on Practical Route miles, which typically average 8% higher than short route or household-goods miles that many carriers base their driver pay on, according to the company.
