Revamped Web Site Helps Firms Get Government Fleet Contracts

Global Access Marketing has introduced a refurbished web site where firms in the transportation industry can receive assistance in obtaining a government contract number, the essential first step toward becoming a vendor for government projects.
Global Access Marketing Inc. (GAM) specializes in assisting aftermarket companies sell to the federal government. GSA contracts encompass all levels of procurement including city, county, state, federal and USPS, as well as the Joint Services of the Department of Defense.
The web site can be found at www.contracts-gsa.com.
In recent years GSA schedules have been expanded, giving firms in almost every industry the ability to sell more than four million commercial products and professional services directly to the federal government. Purchases from GSA contract holders are currently in the $25-billion range and are expected to ramp up to $30 billion within the next two years.
GSA contracts are also available to foreign firms provided they have a FOB destination to the United States.
Smaller firms seeking access to broader markets can especially benefit from partnering with GAM to navigate the GSA contracting process.
“According to the 2004 Federal Fleet Report there are more than 620,000 vehicles in government fleets. This does not include state, county and municipal fleets,” said GAM Director John Borowicz. “The General Services Administration has gone out of its way to help businesses match goods and services to this strategic market.”
The quickest and most efficient way for any company to accelerate its sales in the federal marketplace is to become a General Services Administration (GSA) schedule contract holder.
