Go Natural Gas has installed a new Compressed Natural Gas fueling dispenser at a Shell service station in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
Drivers of CNG-powered vehicles will have access to the fueling option 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

"We are thrilled to be able to offer southern California drivers the opportunity to use CNG as a transportation fuel since it is cleaner, cheaper, domestically produced, and provides access to the car pool lane," said Timothy Nelligan, president of Go Natural Gas (GNG). "This CNG dispenser is publicly accessible and conveniently located at an existing corner gas station off Avery Parkway on Interstate 5."

Go Natural Gas, which was founded by Joshua Radwan and brought to life by Timothy Nelligan, plans to offer competitive prices as an incentive for drivers to make the switch to a CNG-powered vehicle and improve air quality in the South Coast air basin.

Funding for the new dispenser came through a grant from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC), an organization within the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), which provides clean transportation funding to projects in the South Coast air basin. The MSRC allocates clean transportation funding from a $4 surcharge on vehicle license fees and disperses funds to projects designed to reduce air pollution from mobile sources.

"We couldn't be happier that the MSRC funding is allowing our business to contribute to reducing air pollution in our community and increase the diversity of fuel options we provide to our customers," said Nelligan.

The station will offer CNG through two compressors that are able to produce 1.25 gasoline gallons equivalents per minute along with 30,000 feet or 250 gallons of storage.
