Maverick Announces 2026 Driver Pay Raises
New raises for Maverick Transportation drivers will take effect on May 31, 2026.

Maverick's new pay structure will see experienced drivers earning $.64-$.67 CPM ($84,000-$96,000 first year average).

Maverick Transportation has announced new pay increases for flatbed over-the-road drivers and multiple dedicated driving divisions,. The carrier said the move reinforces its company’s continued investment in their professional drivers.
Maverick’s Vice President of Recruiting, Brad Vaughn said, “We are truly excited to roll out this pay increase for our drivers, who are the heart of our operations and the key to our success.”
Rewarding Professional Drivers
Drivers in Maverick’s flatbed over-the-road divisions will see a $.04 per mile increase effective May 31, 2026. With this increase, starting student flatbed drivers will earn $.59 CPM ($73,000-$80,000 first year average) and experienced drivers will earn $.64-$.67 CPM ($84,000-$96,000 first year average).
Additionally, more than 10 dedicated flatbed and glass divisions will also receive pay increases as part of Maverick’s ongoing commitment to rewarding professional drivers.
These increases will go into effect on May 31, 2026.
Maverick said it continues to lead the industry by investing in driver pay, benefits, and long-term career success.
Drivers receive a comprehensive compensation package that includes performance-based bonuses, paid pre-employment evaluation, flexible home time options, and competitive benefits.
