LTL Freight Services, Milwaukee, is rebranding itself as Global Freight Source, to reflect its growth and focus on becoming a single-source provider of shipping logistics.
The rebranding effort has been fueled by a growth rate of 665% over the past three years, which landed the company on Inc. Magazine’s 2013 Inc. 5000 list.
“We’ve proven the type of cost-saving value we’re able to provide and we’ve positioned ourselves to offer single-source simplicity to any type of organization with shipping needs,” said Jim Weatherly, president of Global Freight Source.
Global Freight Source will offer a range of services in several areas, including less than truckload shipping, full truckload shipping and freight auditing services. The company is on track to experience $40 million in sales this year, up from $33 million in 2012.
“We are able to scale our services to meet the needs of any organization, whether it’s a small business on main street or a Fortune 500 corporation,” Weatherly said.
In addition to its Milwaukee office, Global Freight Source will operate satellite offices in Charleston, S.C. and Sarasota, Fla.
