Kinedyne’s Sales and Marketing VP Wolford Dies

Paul W. Wolford, Kinedyne vice president of sales and marketing, is dead at age 61 from cancer. Joining Kinedyne in 1981, Wolford was credited with his efforts to propel the company's growth and reputation in the following decades.

Paul W. Wolford, Kinedyne vice president of sales and marketing, is dead at age 61 from cancer.

"It is with the greatest sadness we share that Paul Wolford, our esteemed colleague and trusted friend, passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018," said Dan Schlotterbeck, president of Kinedyne. "Paul's courage, strength and dignity through his long battle with cancer are a testament to his dedication and devotion to all who knew him. He led by example, and his many contributions, as a person and as a leader, touched each of us."

In a career that spanned nearly 40 years in the commercial vehicle industry, Wolford joined Kinedyne in 1981 and was named the company’s vice president of sales and marketing in 1997. He is credited with his efforts to propel Kinedyne’s growth and help establish the company’s reputation.

Wolford was a native of Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is survived by his parents James and Joan Wolford of Lincoln; brothers John Wolford and Jerald Wolford; wife of 37 years, Kathleen and his daughter Jennifer Weber.

Wolford was an active member of the American Lung Association and was recognized as a Lung Force Hero for his fundraising and advocacy for cancer research in its fight against the disease. Memorial donations can be made to:
