The huge fleet says it is increasing its workforce and expanding its corporate headquarters in Lowell, Ark.

The company broke ground on a new 133,000 square-foot central office building in September that is scheduled for completion in spring 2017. As part of the expansion the company anticipates adding more than 1,000 jobs in Arkansas over the course of the next six years.
“In the past five years, J.B. Hunt has been successful in growing revenues from $3.8 billion to $6.2 billion.
