Hot Line Freight System is opening two new terminals in Ohio and Illinois that will expand shipping opportunities for the surrounding areas, bringing less-than-truckload service to the Midwest.
The new terminals are located in Bryan, Ohio, and Bloomington, Ill. The terminals are the companies 18th and 19th such facilities nationwide.
“We felt it was time to have a terminal in Bloomington, Ill., and Bryan, Ohio, to better serve our customers and to expand the area that we cover,” said Paul Burgmeier, vice president of operations at Hot Line Freight.
Hot Line Freight System is a regional LTL carrier in the Midwest based in West Salem, Wis. The company was started in 1988 and today has over 300 employees. While it provides LTL services regionally, the company also offers nationwide services.
“Our niche is to pick up from our customer, strap in the freight and have it never leave the trailer until delivery,” said Bob Burgmeier, president of Hot Line Freight. “The freight that leaves the Midwest and delivers nationwide looks like it did when it left the factory.”
