Hankook Appoints New President of American Operations
Hankook Tire appointed Hee-se Ahn as the president of Hankook Tire America Corp., effective Jan. 1. Ahn will also function as the company’s chief operating officer for business operations throughout the Americas.

Hankook Tire appointed Hee-se Ahn as the president of Hankook Tire America Corp., effective Jan. 1. Ahn will also function as the company’s chief operating officer for business operations throughout the Americas, including the United States, Canada, Central America, South America and Mexico.
Ahn will be based at Hankook Tire’s American headquarters in Wayne, New Jersey.

Ahn has more than 29 years of experience at Hankook Tire, beginning his career with the company in 1986 at the headquarters in Seoul, Korea. He has held several positions within the company during that time, including managing director of Hankook’s Dubai office, vice president of marketing and sales for Hankook’s China headquarters, and most recently as the vice president of marketing and sales at the European headquarters.
“I am honored to lead Hankook Tire America Corp. as we grow brand equity and strengthen market leadership in the tire industry and America market,” said Ahn.
