Double Coin Holdings, its North American subsidiary CMA, and the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA), are participating in a new Data Exchange Pilot Program (DEPP) to be commissioned in 2010
.

The RMA has developed the DEPP as a reporting program for tire manufacturers that do not currently have U.S.-based manufacturing facilities. The purpose of the reporting is to provide accurate tire shipment data to DEPP participants in a timely manner to facilitate a better understanding of the U.S. tire business.

"This opportunity allows CMA and more specifically Double Coin truck and bus radial tire products to be accounted for even more accurately in U.S. statistics," said Aaron Murphy, vice president of CMA.

"Double Coin was the first company to agree to join our new program and we are grateful that they will work with us to create a useful tool for tire makers who conduct business in the U.S.," said Dr. Charles Cannon, RMA president and CEO.

The RMA is a trade association representing tire and rubber manufacturers in the U.S. All current RMA member companies are eligible to participate in the program. The DEPP program is a non-membership-based program and is independent from all other RMA affiliations.
