Continental Tire the Americas has been named the tire sponsor of the ChampTruck truck racing series in 2015.
All trucks racing in the 2015 ChampTruck series will run the Continental HSR2 tread pattern. ChampTruck is the first big-truck racing series in the U.S. since 1993.

The inaugural season will include 10 events across the country this year. Teams will compete in two-axle Class 8 trucks that can reach speeds of up to 100 mph.
“We are very excited to be part of the ChampTruck series and part of this growing segment in racing,” said Alex Chmiel, director of marketing for Continental Tire the Americas.
“Our research and development engineers spent a lot of time with ChampTruck drivers and testing tires at races to determine the best tire for truck racing series," he added.
