Consolidated Metco has been recognized as a top performer by Paccar as part of its Supplier Performance Management Program for 2015.
The SPM program evaluates a supplier’s performance in the areas of product development, operations support and business alignment with Paccar objectives.
ConMet’s casting division was singled out by Paccar as part of the reason it was named a top performer.
“Quality, technology and innovation are cornerstones of Paccar’s success that enable the company to deliver outstanding products and services to our customers worldwide,” said Bill Jackson, vice president of global purchasing at Paccar. “Our suppliers play a critical role in each of these areas.”
ConMet molded products supplied to Paccar include aluminum castings and interior plastic components, like instrument panels and cabinets. ConMet also supplies Paccar trucks with wheel hub assemblies, brake drums and disc brake rotors.
ConMet is a global supplier of components to the commercial vehicle market.
“We are proud to be considered one of Paccar’s top suppliers,” said Mike Miga, ConMet’s vice president of engineering, molded products. “We take great pride in our product quality and customer service.”
