Cadec Global has added two industry veterans to its senior management team: Eric Witty has joined as vice president, product management, and Brent Goldstein has joined as vice president, software engineering. Each has 20-plus years experience working in the wireless and fleet management industries.
Witty is charged with developing innovative, market-driven products and services for Cadec’s private-fleet customers. He was most recently at Qualcomm, where he led the company’s DOT hours-of-service team. Prior to Qualcomm, Witty held product marketing and engineering role at XRS/Xata. He has deep experience in HOS, CSA, IFTA and the rule-making process, plus SaaS, mobility, handheld applications and supply-chain workflow.
As vice president, software engineering, Goldstein is responsible for ensuring that the Cadec engineering team delivers software products and compiling a set of best practices for improving software development productivity. Goldstein brings to Cadec his expertise in analyzing customers’ business requirements and matching those with appropriate software functionality. He spent nearly 20 years at Motorola Mobility in a series of technical and management positions, and most recently held executive-level software engineering management positions at ACI Worldwide Payment Systems and Direct Capital.
