Bridgestone Commercial Announces New Marketing Head
Bridgestone Commercial hired Marshall Hyzdu as the vice president of marketing, taking over initiatives for OTR and commercial truck and bus product brands including Bridgestone, Firestone, Bandag and Dayton.

Bridgestone Commercial hired Marshall Hyzdu as the vice president of marketing, taking over initiatives for OTR and commercial truck and bus product brands including Bridgestone, Firestone, Bandag and Dayton.
Hyzdu has years of marketing experience for global brands, leading global product strategy for Valvoline and brand management at Kraft Foods. While at Kraft he worked on company brands including Kraft Singles, Breakstone’s, Knudsen, Polly-O, Athenos and others.

Hyzdu was also an analyst at UBS Investment Bank and a brand manager at Vector Marketing Corp. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the Michigan Business School in Ann Arbor, Mich., and an undergraduate degree in history and psychology from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.
“We are fortunate to add Marshall’s many talents and rich experiences to our team at Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations,” said Philip Dobbs, CMO for BATO. “Under his leadership, we are confident that the commercial division will continue to grow.”
The companies also said they plan to coordinate deployment planning across priority freight corridors and define routes and operational design domains for U.S. commercial service while laying the groundwork for expansion into key European markets.
