Innovative Transport Solutions, formerly CLS International USA, has developed two freight loading and unloading products - the Mobile Transport Tray and the Portable Roller Bed System.

"We simply applied some common sense to a few particularly inefficient loading and unloading situations, and then made the investment to engineer solutions," said Paul Gibbs, president. "Because they address and solve so many domestic and international loading problems, they can bring a shipper and receiver instant savings through more efficient freight loading and unloading."

The Mobile Transport Tray (MTT) allows shippers to load and unload containers in less than five minutes, as freight is easily secured to the MTT and simply rolled into a container for transport. This results in reduced dunnage; faster trans-loading; and the ability to convert flat-bed loads to rail enclosed service.

Because a loaded MTT is simply rolled into a container, this can eliminate many situations currently requiring top-loading containers, which require cranes and forklifts, Gibbs said.

MTTs are available for lease, purchase or one-way domestic or international rental.

Innovative Transport System's other new product, the Portable Roller Bed System (PBS), converts wooden trailer floors into partial or full roller-bed trailers. The system can be used for freighting airfreight pallets to and from airport and warehouses, and for converting reefer trailers into roller beds. Standard sections and custom lengths are available. Sections can be easily linked together to create a full 53-foot roller bed trailer floor.
